On Tuesday it was announced that the University of Cape Town alumni and Chartered Accountant, Aimee Rhoda, has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Coronation Fund Managers. As the CFO, Aimee will be in charge of managing revenues worth R4.2 billion and assets worth R761 billion.
Aimee’s appointment comes on the back of years of experience within the financial sector, starting in 2007 when she started out at Deloitte as an auditor followed by a promotion to Assistant Manager of the Special Services Group.
It was in 2007 that she began working for Coronation as a Finance Manager, followed by becoming an Incentive Specialist and eventually being promoted to the Head of Remuneration and Benefits in 2025.
During her time at Coronation, she served as a trustee and director of several Coronation-related entities. This includes being its representative on the board of Namibia Asset Management as its non-Executive Director and Financial Director.
Aimee has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance, as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting, both from the University of Cape Town.
